Kaia v2.0.1 Release Now Live – Important Update for CNs

We’ve just rolled out Kaia v2.0.1 — a bugfix-focused update that addresses several issues from v2.0.0.

:wrench: Why this matters:

  • Consensus Nodes (CNs) using live pruning were at risk of state trie corruption. This has now been fixed.
  • Block processing speed has improved thanks to BLS public key caching (KIP-113).
  • Other improvements include better RPC behavior, block sync handling, and console support.

:no_entry: No hardfork in this version — but one is on the way.
